Description

A small, determined party gathers aboard the steamship Duncan, united by a single purpose: to locate the missing Captain Grant, whose expedition vanished in a remote part of the world. Lord Glenarvan leads the crew, while his wife Lady Helena and Grant’s sister Mary cling to fragile hope that their loved one will be found. Among them are the witty French geographer Jacques Paganel and steadfast sailor John Mangles, whose banter eases the tension of the unknown.

Soon the Duncan will chart a course across storm‑tossed seas toward isolated islands, where clues to Grant’s fate may hide. Paganel’s encyclopedic curiosity turns each discovery into a lively lesson, while the crew faces treacherous currents and scarce supplies. Listeners are drawn into a voyage that blends scientific wonder with human perseverance, setting the stage for an adventure that spans continents and tests the bonds of friendship.
