Description

On a warm, tranquil summer evening the gardens of a prestigious academy bloom with fragrant flowers, yet the usual crowds have faded, leaving only a select group of young women gathered in the grand ballroom. These girls—daughters of princes, counts, and even a few modest nobles—have been summoned by the matriarch Anna Iwanovna for a night of music and dance that marks the beginning of their social debut. The atmosphere hums with nervous excitement as they step beyond the cloistered walls of their education into a world of courtly etiquette.

Among the dancers, Luisa captures attention as she twirls with the dashing student Ernest, their eyes meeting in a tender, almost shy exchange. Princess Maranda watches them closely, offering a warm smile and a subtle invitation that hints at possible patronage, while the other young men linger, unsure how to approach the luminous pair. As the waltz continues, whispers of lineage, ambition, and forbidden affection begin to surface, promising that the evening will shape the futures of these hopeful hearts.
