Description

Jacqueline, a keen‑observant young woman, finds herself caught in a web of family intrigue after the death of her father. Her stepmother, Madame de Nailles, watches anxiously as Jacqueline’s once‑affectionate demeanor turns cold, hinting that the girl may have uncovered a dangerous secret. Tensions rise as whispered accusations and veiled threats swirl around the household, leaving everyone unsure of whom to trust.

Seeking freedom from the oppressive atmosphere, Jacqueline abandons her melancholy and embraces a new, daring circle of friends. The “Blue Band,” a lively group of seaside girls dressed in a distinctive uniform, live with a carefree, almost masculine exuberance that thrills and unsettles her. Their world, set against sun‑lit chalets and open‑air rooms that blur the line between private and public, promises excitement and the chance for Jacqueline to test the limits of her newfound independence.
