Description

In a secluded valley of Montmany, the villagers whisper about a strange, ageless figure known only as l’Aleix. He drifts through the pine‑scented hills, his gait bent like a reed yet his eyes bright with a mischievous spark that belies his many decades. Rumours swirl that he once bargained with demons, that he can rise from his own grave, and that his presence at the morning mass draws both envy and awe. The locals watch him from the safety of their shutters, half‑curious, half‑fearful, as he lingers in the shadow of the ancient chapel of Puiggraciós.

Each dawn Aleix sets out on a solitary hunt for the elusive tòfonas, mysterious creatures said to hide in the deepest thickets and under the cracked roofs of abandoned cottages. With a battered saw on his back and a quiet patience honed by years of wandering, he follows the faintest signs—broken twigs, a dog's low growl, the scent of earth after rain. The journey is a tapestry of rustic humor and lyrical description, inviting listeners to step into a world where folklore and reality intertwine, and where every rustle in the forest hints at a secret yet to be uncovered.
