Description

Jack Ralston and his partner Gabe “Perk” Perkiser are the daring sky detectives the Secret Service sends to the tangled waterways of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Armed with a swift amphibious plane that can kiss both water and land, they are charged with breaking a sprawling smuggling ring that hauls diamonds, contraband booze and unwanted immigrants into the United States. Their mission is backed by high‑level orders and a network of local agents, but the real challenge lies in navigating the hidden inlets, mangrove islands and midnight swamps where the crooks hide.

From the moment the duo readies their aircraft in a secluded bayou, the story crackles with the tension of aerial cat‑and‑mouse games and the intrigue of a covert investigation. Their love of danger pushes them into daring low‑altitude flights, daring landings, and clever ruses as they begin to map out the secretive hierarchy behind the illegal trade. The opening chapters promise a fast‑paced, water‑splashed adventure that blends classic 1930s aviation thrills with a gritty, law‑and‑order chase.
