Description

In the bright morning of the Big Green Woods, Doctor Rabbit and his nervous friend Cheepy Chipmunk sit together in the rabbit’s front yard, swapping jokes and enjoying the fresh air. Their peace is broken when a reddish‑brown animal with a bushy tail slips through the trees, a creature Cheepy instantly recognises as dangerous. Doctor Rabbit whispers that it’s Brushtail the Fox—a sly hunter he once saw near the Deep River—and advises his companion to stay perfectly still while they watch the newcomer’s cautious steps.

High above, Chatty Red Squirrel spots the fox and shouts a firm warning, daring the predator to leave the woods. The fox pauses, eyes flicking momentarily toward the noisy squirrel before continuing his silent walk. Tension ripples through the forest as Doctor Rabbit, Cheepy, and their woodland neighbours keep a careful watch, wondering what the fox’s next move will be.
