A spirited band of four adventurers sets out from the Ohio frontier, eager to chase the promise of the western horizon. Leading the group is Deerfoot, a skilled Shawnee horseman who rides without a saddle, his trusty pony “Simon” bearing a blanket instead. Alongside him rides Mul‑tal‑la, a Blackfoot rider with his own shaggy mount, while two brothers, Victor and George, bring youthful determination and a yearning to escape recent sorrows.
Their journey promises encounters with untamed prairie lands, river crossings, and the mysteries of a continent still being mapped. As they follow the trail of early American explorers, the companions must rely on Deerfoot’s expertise with rifle and horse, testing their courage against the vast, open wilderness. Listeners will feel the excitement of a bygone era, the camaraderie of the group, and the awe of a world on the brink of discovery.
