Description

A weary carriage rolls away from a bustling village, its wheels clattering over gravel as the last church bells fade into the distance. The road winds into a high Alpine forest, where sunlight filters through towering pines and the murmuring brook whispers of a quieter world. Here the story opens with a young prince, pale and frail, seeking refuge from courtly obligations in the solitude of the mountains.

Accompanying him is a loyal servant, a pragmatic man in a dark Cheviot suit, whose dry humor masks a deeper concern for his charge. As the carriage climbs, the dense forest seems to swallow the noise of civilization, offering a landscape of pine‑scented air, gentle streams, and the promise of inner peace. Yet the prince’s lingering illness and his unspoken yearning for something beyond the confines of his title hint at a conflict that will unfold between the stillness of nature and the restless heart within.
