Description

Kit Carey, a freshly commissioned lieutenant fresh from West Point, finds himself stationed on the edge of the Indian country, where his mentor Colonel Crandall relies on his keen knowledge of the land. An urgent summons orders him to become the escort for Captain Foshay’s daughter, who is desperate to reunite with her mother while her father heads to the front. The assignment promises a swift, fifty‑mile ride across a trail already showing signs of hostile Indian activity, testing Carey’s resolve and his reputation for bravery.

Accompanying him is Miss Emma Foshay, a fearless rider and capable with a weapon, whose determination adds both confidence and tension to the perilous journey. As the duo prepares to navigate the open plains, rumors of Indian positions along the trail suggest danger may be closer than expected. Listeners are drawn into the early clash of duty, loyalty, and the raw challenges of frontier life, setting the stage for a gripping adventure.
