Description

In this lively volume, a bright‑eyed girl named Anne discovers that her “good nature” is more of a mischievous habit than a blessing. When her mother laments the lack of flowers in winter, Anne wakes before dawn to launch a well‑intentioned but chaotic plan that turns the garden into a surprise for everyone. Her well‑meaning meddling sets off a chain of humorous situations that reveal how kindness can sometimes be a funny sort of troublemaker.

The collection continues with a handful of whimsical tales and verses, each offering a different slice of childhood curiosity—from a daring monkey’s revenge to a clever anti‑burglar scheme, and even a shy coin that tells its own story. The stories are illustrated with gentle, colourful drawings that bring the characters to life without ever losing the gentle tone suited for younger ears. Together they form a charming mix of humor and moral wonder, perfect for a bedtime listen or a short afternoon adventure.
