A fierce storm lashes a modest riverbank where a fisherman’s family has turned a leaky boat into a makeshift home. As the wind howls and the tide rises, the night erupts with the cries of children and the frantic pleas of a mother fearing the vessel will drift away. The old fisherman, half‑asleep and gruff, is roused into action, his stubborn confidence battling his wife’s dread.
Determined to save the household, the fisherman and his teenage son brave the gale, trudging toward the nearby village of Fellness in search of assistance. Along the treacherous, rain‑slick road they hear distant gunshots and rockets signaling distress, underscoring the peril that looms over the water. Their desperate race against the elements sets the stage for a tale of courage, community, and the relentless power of the sea.
