Description

A young nobleman, fresh from the courts of France, finds his destiny entwined with the legendary Knights of St. John just as the order prepares to defend its stronghold on Rhodes. Drawn by a mixture of duty, adventure, and a desire to prove himself, he undergoes rigorous training, learns the codes of obedience, chastity, and bravery, and gains his first taste of command aboard a galley. Alongside seasoned warriors and curious companions, he experiences the vibrant life of the island fortress—its bustling markets, solemn chapels, and the ever‑present threat of Ottoman fleets.

When rumors of an impending siege reach the walls of the citadel, the fledgling knight must confront both external danger and internal doubts. Early skirmishes and daring sorties test his resolve, while alliances form and hidden plots surface among the defenders. The stage is set for a gripping tale of loyalty, courage, and the harsh realities of medieval warfare, inviting listeners to walk beside a hero at the very onset of a historic struggle.
