Description

Four eager boys spend a sun‑drenched summer on Maine’s remote Sunset Island, where the tide and the woods teem with challenges waiting to be met. Their days begin with rowboats, harpoons, and the whisper of a “white‑ash breeze” that carries the promise of a prize catch. When a massive, unfamiliar fin slices the water, the friends launch a frantic pursuit that tests their skill, courage, and quick‑thinking teamwork, turning an ordinary outing into a heart‑pounding battle with a giant deep‑sea sunfish.

Beyond the splash‑filled chase, the story follows the boys as they learn the rhythms of island life—setting lobster traps, exploring hidden coves, and swapping tall tales around creaking docks. Their friendships deepen amid salty air and stubborn sails, and each new adventure reveals a little more about the rugged beauty of the coastline and the daring spirit that drives these woodcraft boys forward.
