In early twentieth‑century Helsinki a bohemian atelier perched on a high third floor becomes a stage for color‑coded messages. The artist Kavio decorates the windows with terracotta pots of tulips whose hues—bright yellow, pristine white, deep red—signal the arrival of different visitors, from a nameless model to a courtly lady. The room itself, draped with fluttering blue‑gray curtains, hums with the rustle of silk and the faint scent of fresh blossoms, inviting both intrigue and romance.
Kavio’s charm is matched only by his penchant for harmless deception; he delights in turning ordinary objects into secret signals that amuse his circle of friends and bewilder his wife. When a young primadonna slips into the studio, her bold whisper and mischievous smile set off a cascade of playful banter, drawing Kavio into a tense dance of attraction and artistic rivalry. As the tulips shift and the curtains flutter, listeners are invited to watch the delicate balance between creative inspiration and the tangled emotions of a man who loves all women with equal, chaotic passion.
