In a leafy forest lives Uncle Wiggely Longears, a kindly old rabbit who shares a cozy hollow‑stump bungalow with Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy, a muskrat who keeps the home humming. Their days are filled with visits from rabbit children, squirrel twins, ducklings and all sorts of woodland friends who love to call out, “Uncle Wiggely! Come play!” The gentle rabbit is always ready with a tall silk hat and his quirky, striped crutch, eager to join in games, treasure hunts for hickory nuts, or splashing swims.
Beyond the bungalow, Uncle Wiggely’s imagination takes flight—literally. He pilots a makeshift airship built from a clothes basket and bright circus balloons, and drives a wacky automobile whose wheels are fashioned from bologna sausages that he can speed up with a pinch of pepper. Each adventure brings him into contact with familiar Mother Goose characters, from Little Bo Peep to Simple Simon, turning everyday forest life into a series of delightfully absurd escapades perfect for a weekly listen.
