A rugged summer dawn awakens a lone hunter, his breath visible in the cold air as he slips out of the sauna and heads toward a frozen lake. The narrative follows his restless thoughts, the crack of a bowstring, and his quiet dialogue with the forest’s unseen spirits. Along the way he meets the mischievous Tuhma‑Jussi, whose reckless antics with a bow and arrow turn the hunt into a playful duel between man, animal and fate.
Soon the hunter finds himself lost in an endless pine‑filled wilderness, the trees whispering ancient riddles while the night deepens around him. Hunger gnaws and the darkness seems to pulse with hidden creatures, yet a faint, hopeful chant urges him onward. The opening paints a vivid picture of solitude, humor and the thin line between survival and myth, inviting listeners to wander the Finnish woods through a voice that is both lyrical and grounded.
