In the glittering courts of ancient Persia, King Ahasuerus revels in a lavish, months‑long celebration that brings together nobles from a realm stretching from India to Ethiopia. Amid the opulent feasts, his queen Vashti is summoned to display her beauty before the assembled guests, but she defiantly refuses, igniting the king’s fury. The monarch turns to his wise advisors, sparking a decree that will reshuffle the royal household and send ripples through every province.
To fill the vacant throne, a royal search is launched across the empire, gathering the most exquisite young women into the harem of Susa. Among them is a humble Jewish orphan named Esther, raised by her devoted cousin Mordecai, who has survived the exile from Jerusalem. Their quiet courage and hidden identities set the stage for a story where personal bravery may challenge the grand designs of a mighty empire.

Some of the world’s most enduring books come from writers whose names were never recorded or never revealed. “Anonymous” on a title page can mean many different things: a lost identity, a deliberate choice, or a work shaped by tradition over time.
