Langston is convinced that the world has turned against him, his bathroom turning into a nightmarish flood of crimson water that seems to obey an unseen Telenizer. Everyday objects animate with hostile intent, and a bearded haloed figure haunts his thoughts, pushing him toward the edge of sanity. The story opens with a frantic scramble through a river of blood, a shattered razor‑like creature that multiplies into tiny, yapping beasts, and a desperate search for a bottle of whisky to steady his nerves. Amid the chaos, Langston’s only anchor is his uneasy relationship with his editor, Carson Newell, who drags him back into the newsroom and hands him a mysterious anti‑alcohol pill.
As Langston teeters between drunken haze and the alien telenosis therapy that seems to be targeting him, he pieces together fragments of a long‑forgotten investigation. The narrative balances grotesque surrealism with dark humor, hinting at a larger conspiracy that may be manipulating reality itself. Listeners are invited to follow his uneasy quest for answers before the full scope of the menace is revealed.
