Description

In the familiar quiet of 221B Baker Street, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are interrupted by a dramatic entrance: a weary, rumpled scholar clutching a tiny card that announces his impressive credentials. The man collapses onto the hearthrug, barely able to speak, yet insists that Holmes must accompany him north to a remote school where a crisis has unfolded. His frantic description hints at an abduction involving the only son of a powerful duke, a matter that has been kept out of the newspapers despite its magnitude.

Intrigued by the combination of aristocratic intrigue and a puzzling disappearance, Holmes quickly assesses the scant clues—a hurried ticket, a promise of a generous reward, and a connection to the Priory School near Mackleton. He decides to leave his current cases behind and follow the exhausted visitor, promising listeners a blend of high‑society stakes, rural English atmosphere, and the razor‑sharp deductions that have made his investigations legendary.
