Description

In a storm‑riven night, a young grenadier discovers a mortally wounded enemy on the battlefield and, driven by compassion, drags him to the safety of a quiet wood. Their rescue is interrupted by a dazzling green chariot and a pair of dragon‑drawn steeds, from which steps an enigmatic Enchanter who gifts the soldier a peculiar wand—one that expands whatever it strikes until a command of “stop” is spoken, and contracts again with a second strike. The wizard vanishes, leaving the grenadier clutching the wand and a newfound sense of purpose.

Now discharged from the army, the soldier wanders the frost‑bitten countryside, seeking work while the wand’s quiet magic hints at greater possibilities. He trades his uniform for a traveler’s coat and follows the royal road toward the snow‑capped Adamant Mountains, where strange sounds echo from gorges and eagles wheel overhead. With each step, the wand promises both wonder and challenge, setting the stage for a series of daring encounters that will test his courage, kindness, and the limits of his mysterious gift.
