THE SILLY JELLY-FISH.
In a lively undersea kingdom, the newly married Dragon Queen falls mysteriously ill and declares that only a live monkey’s liver can cure her. Determined to please his young bride, the Dragon King sends his trusted servant, the Jelly-Fish, on an extraordinary mission to the distant land where monkeys live.
The Jelly-Fish finds a cheerful monkey and persuades him to cross the sea by praising the wonders of Dragon-Land. But halfway through the journey, the monkey discovers the true purpose of the invitation and quickly invents an ingenious excuse to save himself. Their encounter begins a playful folk tale filled with royal absurdity, quick thinking, and the comic consequences of taking strange stories at face value. Perfect for listeners who enjoy traditional animal tales, imaginative underwater kingdoms, and clever characters who can outwit danger.
