Description

When a daring trio of young explorers—Eleanor, Bill, and Janet—receive a mysterious cargo delivered by a guided missile, they are thrust onto the crew of the experimental starship Magellan. Powered by a newly mastered anti‑gravity drive, the vessel promises to shave years off journeys across the solar system. Their mission: to investigate the enigmatic outer reaches and uncover the hidden secret of the ninth world.

Guided by the latest scientific speculation about Pluto’s strange orbit, the crew charts a daring course past Mercury’s scorching valleys, through Venus’s veiled skies, and into the primordial oceans of distant moons. Along the way they confront perilous environments, unexpected alien artifacts, and the puzzling clues left by a civilization that may have once called the frozen planet home. As the Magellan races toward the far‑flung frontier, the teenagers must combine courage, ingenuity, and emerging technology to solve a mystery that could rewrite humanity’s place in the cosmos.
