The crew of the interstellar vessel Astralite has spent decades trusting a flawless gravital chart to navigate the dark gulfs between stars. When junior observer Kendall spots a scarlet disc where the chart shows only void, tension spikes—captain Broster and Dr. Seaward must decide whether to trust a human eye over machines that have never failed. Their debate turns urgent as the ship glides toward the mysterious world, its crimson clouds and carmine seas painting a surreal horizon that seems to pulse with an unsettling glow.
The planet’s red light irritates the mind, a fact the scientists note with uneasy respect, warning that prolonged exposure could drive even the steadest nerves to madness. Against this warning, the decision is made to descend and take a quick look, hoping the surface will reveal why the chart omitted it. Just as the landing gear lowers, a shrill alarm erupts, hinting that the silent world may hide threats no one anticipated.
