Description

The Rover brothers—Dick, Tom, Sam, and their spirited cousins—have traded schoolyard pranks for real‑world challenges. When a booming discovery in the southern oil fields promises fortunes, they pack their gear and head west, eager to prove their mettle amid black‑gold rushes. A sudden storm forces them to seek shelter, where they first meet a charismatic promoter whose offers seem too good to be true.

Soon the boys are thrust into the hectic rhythm of drilling, hauling equipment and fending off mysterious setbacks that threaten to halt progress. Their loyalty to one another and quick thinking turn each obstacle into a lesson in courage, while rival crews and unexpected hazards keep the tension high. Listeners will savor the blend of daring exploits, friendship, and early‑twentieth‑century frontier spirit that defines this lively adventure.
