Description

The Rover brothers and their close friends set off on a river cruise down the mighty Mississippi, eager for a taste of Southern adventure. When their trusted houseboat vanishes overnight, the boys spring into action, determined to track down the missing vessel and the mysterious planter who was supposed to guard it. Their search leads them into the tangled backwaters and bustling river towns, where they meet colorful locals and confront the challenges of a fast‑moving river.

Along the way the trio discovers an abandoned steam yacht drifting in a quiet inlet, its decks echoing with unanswered questions. As they explore the silent craft, they uncover clues that hint at hidden motives and a larger mystery waiting to be solved. With daring teamwork, quick thinking, and a dash of humor, the Rover boys turn a puzzling disappearance into a thrilling quest that tests their courage and loyalty, all while delivering the wholesome spirit of youthful adventure.
