Description

The three inseparable friends—Jerry, Ned and Bob—have already proved themselves on land and water, but the latest aero‑carnival sparks a new ambition: to fly higher than any of their previous exploits. The sight of a massive dirigible beating the sky ignites their imagination, and they resolve to join the emerging world of powered flight. Their excitement is tempered only by the skeptical murmurs of those who still think the air is an impossible frontier.

Teaming up with an experienced balloon constructor, the boys pool their resources to fund a novel hybrid craft that blends a dirigible’s lift with an aeroplane’s thrust. As the prototype takes shape, their old rival, the scheming Noddy Nixon, begins to stir trouble, threatening to sabotage the venture before it ever leaves the ground. Early test runs are fraught with mishaps, providing both comic setbacks and genuine peril.

Now the boys stand on the brink of a daring race that promises fame and a handsome prize. Listeners will be swept along with the creak of canvas, the roar of engines, and the thrill of a skyward chase that tests their courage, ingenuity, and friendship.
