Description

In this sweeping portion of the ancient saga, the five brothers of the Kuru lineage grapple with the final year of their hidden exile. After twelve years of wandering in secret, they must choose a place where they can remain unseen while still supporting themselves. Their council turns to the kingdom of Virata, a realm ruled by a generous and loyal monarch, as the most promising refuge for their concluding year.

Each brother adopts a humble guise to blend into court life. Yudhishthira presents himself as a learned Brahmin named Kanka, entertaining the king with games of dice and chess. Bhima, ever the powerhouse, takes on the role of a master cook named Vallabha, dazzling the palace with feats of strength and culinary skill. Their clever disguises set the stage for intrigue, loyalty, and the subtle art of surviving under watchful eyes.
