Description

A seasoned Mountie named John Childress rides the moon‑lit frontier, his scarlet‑blue‑gold uniform gleaming against the stark Canadian wilderness. He’s on a quiet patrol near the “Medicine Line,” the imagined border between the United States and Canada, accompanied by his loyal gray stallion and a stubborn hound named Poison. The night’s calm is broken when a frantic young rider, Bernice Gallegher, bursts onto the trail, begging for help against a group of Yankee rustlers stealing cattle from her Lazy G Ranch.

Drawn into a tense standoff, Childress must balance the strict code of his service with the desperate pleas of a frontier family. As the moon washes the landscape in silver, the sergeant’s sense of duty pushes him to chase clues across the border, exposing the thin line between law and lawlessness. Listeners will feel the crisp night air, the echo of hooves, and the mounting pressure of a mystery that threatens the fragile peace of the western plains.
