Description

In a bright red cottage on the edge of a thick wood, a cheerful boy named Toto lives with his only family—his blind grandmother. Their home is a cozy world of a crackling fireplace, fragrant gingerbread, and a garden where roses and clematis climb the chimney. Together they share simple joys, from Toto’s laughter to the grandmother’s patient, skilled hands.

Despite her lack of sight, the grandmother keeps the cottage immaculate, knits endless rows of stockings and mittens, and cooks the finest cookies anyone has ever tasted. Her trusty kitchen companions—a chatty kettle and steadfast tongs—add a whimsical rhythm to their daily chores, while Toto darts into the forest to fetch wood and water, often forgetting the pantry’s waiting potatoes and apples. Their gentle routine is peppered with small mishaps that reveal the deep love and resourcefulness that bind them.
