Description

In the hush of a deep winter, the Hollow Tree and its surrounding woods become a cozy refuge for the curious folk who call it home. As snow blankets the branches, friends—Mr. Dog, the clever 'Coon, the sleepy 'Possum, and the sharp‑eyed Black Crow—gather around the fire to swap stories that have been whispered through generations. The narrator, a gentle storyteller, invites listeners into a world where maps are drawn upside‑down, ladders lead to the edge of the world, and every path promises another adventure.

Now a new Little Lady, almost grown from the one who first heard these tales, steps into the circle, bringing fresh eyes and a bright imagination. With the arrival of a young, adventurous Dog, the group forms a ‘Snowed‑In’ literary club, sharing episodes of a circus visit, a widow crow’s boarding‑house, and a picnic beneath the tree’s hollow branches. These charming vignettes linger like warm tea on a cold day, inviting listeners to linger in the Big Deep Woods and discover the simple magic of friendship.
