Description

At the start of the tale a tired young woman named Hazel seeks comfort by a modest fire, only to watch a series of matches spark strange visions that open a dark portal. Stepping through, she finds herself in an otherworldly garden where lilacs, laburnums and shimmering streams create a paradise of colour and light. The narrative follows her wonder as she wanders among towering trees, a crystal pool, and a hidden grotto, and soon discovers a golden circlet that crowns her as queen of this secluded realm.

Yet the garden’s perfection is tinged with an uneasy awareness that joy and duty are intertwined. Hazel begins to hear a solemn voice urging her to look beyond the fragrant walls, hinting at a larger world of pain and healing that only a queen can address. The story balances lyrical description with a gentle call to responsibility, inviting listeners to contemplate how inner beauty can inspire, but also challenge, a brave heart.
