Description

Three energetic Girl Scouts stand on the windswept shore of Sea Crest, marveling at the endless roll of the ocean that feels like a living poem. Grace, Cleo, and Louise (Weasie) trade playful banter about salty breezes, ruined shoes, and the sheer size of the sea compared to their inland homes. When a mischievous wave drenches their new summer pumps, they retreat to a weather‑worn barrel on the sand, drying their socks and plotting a barefoot adventure.

While exploring the tide‑pools, they hear a frantic bark and discover a small, tangled dog drifting near the pier, its collar clinging to a discarded fishing net. The girls quickly rally, using their scout skills and a makeshift rope to pull the animal to safety, but the sudden storm clouds hint that more challenges lie ahead. Their teamwork and quick thinking turn a simple beach day into the start of a memorable rescue.
