Description

A tiny three‑year‑old named Henry finds himself alone in the woods, calling for his mother as the wind whips his hair and a mischievous village boy teases him. He runs farther than any child should, stumbling over roots and trees until the dark silhouette of an ivy‑clad abbey appears on the horizon, offering the only shelter he can imagine.

Inside the crumbling stone walls, Henry discovers a modest cell where he sleeps, his faithful dog Fidelle staying close by. Day after day the pair share simple comforts—a piece of bread, a scrap of boiled meat—while a curious owl, chatty sparrows, and a bright robin become his unexpected companions. The rhythm of nature, the gentle flow of a nearby stream, and the warm presence of his canine friend turn the forlorn refuge into a modest haven, keeping his hope alive as he waits for the day his mother might return.

Some of the world’s most enduring books come from writers whose names were never recorded or never revealed. “Anonymous” on a title page can mean many different things: a lost identity, a deliberate choice, or a work shaped by tradition over time.
