Description

A pair of striking riders cuts a slow path through the rugged Russian steppe, their uniforms crisp, pistols at their sides, and a lone carriage rattling behind them. The elder, dark‑eyed and quick‑laughing, and his slightly younger companion, blue‑eyed and thoughtful, share a camaraderie that hints at deeper loyalties and unspoken histories. Their journey, marked by sweltering heat and the occasional whinny of a weary pony, carries them toward the modest town of Tver, where the road finally eases into a greener, tree‑lined forest.

Beyond that temporary respite, the road opens onto the foothills of the Caucasus, where the travelers will encounter the enigmatic world of the Circassian highlands. In the shadows of towering peaks, a charismatic chief, proud and fierce, will cross their path, drawing them into a tangled web of honor, intrigue, and a romance that challenges the boundaries of culture and duty. The first stage of their expedition sets the tone for an adventure where loyalty, love, and the clash of worlds intertwine.
