Description

A lively troupe of four friends—Alice, Mabel, Marie, and Natalie—has just been initiated as “Wood Gatherers” in their town’s new Camp Fire Girls chapter. Their enthusiasm for badges, secret signs and outdoor skills is matched only by the chatter about upcoming adventures and the promise of a real camp fire of their own. As they practice the rituals of their organization, the girls discover a mysterious old mill on the edge of town, a place whispered about in local legend.

When a treasured ring goes missing and strange noises echo from the abandoned building, the girls’ curiosity turns into a daring investigation. Armed with their newfound knowledge of knots, tracking, and teamwork, they set out to uncover the mill’s secrets, learning that courage and cooperation are their greatest tools. Listeners will be swept along with the girls’ spirited banter, the rustle of forest paths, and the suspense of a mystery that beckons just beyond the campfire’s glow.
