Description

A seasoned veteran of the Great War, now weary from years abroad, steps off a ferry at Dover with a singular purpose: to surprise an old friend whose reputation for brilliance precedes him. The journey brings him back to the familiar streets of London, where he bursts through the door of his longtime confidant, a meticulous detective whose tiny gray cells have solved countless mysteries. Their reunion, filled with laughter, frantic gestures and a rush of recollections, sets the tone for a series of investigations that will test both men’s wits in equal measure.

Across the ensuing chapters, the duo encounters a kaleidoscope of puzzling cases—from an unexpected guest on a ship to a baffling theft of a priceless artifact—each demanding Poirot’s characteristic methodical reasoning and Hastings’s loyal support. With every twist, the partnership deepens, offering listeners a blend of sharp deduction, subtle humor, and the quiet satisfaction of order restored.
