Description

Four adventurous youngsters are gathered around a gleaming early‑twentieth‑century touring car, its engine humming with promise. A mysterious yellow envelope arrives, hinting at a hidden quest, and the boys—Billy, Phil and their quick‑talking companion—set off to decode its cryptic message. Their first test is simple yet crucial: coaxing the engine to life, a task that sparks both laughter and friendly rivalry as they wrestle with crank handles and spark plugs.

With the car rolling confidently down Lannington’s bustling avenues, the friends tumble into a world of secret codes, stone markers and daring plans. Their youthful energy drives them to map out a route, stake out odd rock piles and plot a scheme that may lead them into unknown woods and racing circuits. Along the way they discover how teamwork, ingenuity and a touch of mischievous humor can turn an ordinary day into the start of an unforgettable quest.
