Description

A bustling summer fair on Long Island’s Hempstead plain becomes the stage for the Tennant Flying Circus, where daring pilots vie for the crowd’s awe. Among them, King Horn—known as the “Ace of Deuces” after a string of spectacular crashes—steps into a weather‑worn stunt plane, his golden hair glinting in the sun. He trades sarcastic banter with the flamboyant announcer Sam Smith and the weary writer Franklin Cross, promising a performance that will test the limits of both machine and reputation.

Horn roars the engine and lifts just inches above the ground, weaving the aircraft in a dizzying dance of loops, rolls, and close‑shave dives that keep the audience’s breath hanging in the air. Each turn teeters on the edge of disaster, the wing flirting with the turf while his grin flickers from bravado to concentration. As the plane climbs and the crowd roars, the stunt’s sheer audacity hints at deeper stakes for the reckless flyer, whose next move could redefine his legend.
