Description

In the deep, whispering woods, a lone wolf mother named Nitka discovers a human infant abandoned in her den. She raises the child as one of her own, teaching him the silent language of scent, the hunt, and the unyielding law of the forest. As the boy—later called Shasta—grows, he learns to move like a shadow, to listen to the wind, and to understand the delicate balance that keeps the pack alive.

Soon the forest throws new tests his way: a prowling bear, a rival pack, and the distant echo of his own people beyond the trees. Shasta finds himself torn between the fierce loyalty to his wolf family and the faint pull of his forgotten human roots. Listeners will follow his early adventures, feeling the tension of every scent‑laden night and the wonder of a child caught between two worlds.
