Description

A tense chase unfolds on the mist‑shrouded waters of Lake Erie, where a weather‑worn scout known as Scarred Eagle and his fluent‑English‑speaking Indian companion, Goodbrand, race a hostile war party in canoes. Their bruised faces and battered bodies speak of countless frontier battles, yet their quick reflexes and uneasy camaraderie keep them a heartbeat ahead of relentless gunfire. As night falls and the lake’s surface ripples under frantic paddles, the pair must decide whether to fight back or rely on their wits to outmaneuver their pursuers.

The opening paints a vivid portrait of life on the Great Lakes’ edge—raw, rugged, and full of uneasy alliances. Listeners are drawn into the clash of cultures and the stark beauty of a world where survival depends on courage, skill, and the fragile trust between a scarred veteran and his native ally.
