Children with bright eyes press their ears to the lid, and the odd, comforting sounds spark their imaginations, while the adults shake their heads and call the old man a fool.

One quiet boy, who once heard the mysterious murmurs, grows up haunted by the memory and sets out to find the source. He discovers a hidden mountain hollow where the crate’s treasures have settled, a cavern teeming with strange, colorful beings that chatter all at once. As he follows them, each creature shares a fragment of its own tale, and the boy gathers these fragments into a new collection of wonder for anyone willing to listen.
