Description

A wistful young man drifts through the glittering terraces of Monte Carlo just before Christmas, haunted by a love that once seemed inevitable. He imagines a perfect holiday with a beloved dressed in white, pearls and silk, the scent of roses after rain trailing her steps. Yet the Riviera’s blue‑gold sun only deepens his longing for the pure, cold Christmases of his memory.

Meanwhile, Evelyn and Rosemary move hand‑in‑hand, their lives intertwined with Hugh’s quiet strength as they carry baskets of holiday hopes across a bustling scene. The narrative mingles bright casino lights with the gentle promise of festive togetherness, hinting at secret wishes and the search for belonging. Listeners are invited to share the characters’ quiet yearning and the tender anticipation that makes this early‑season tale both intimate and timeless.
