Description

A restless young man from a quiet farming community decides that the only way to help his family is to strike out for himself in the bustling streets of New York. Armed with little more than determination, a strong moral compass, and the practical wisdom his mother has taught him, he boards a train for the city, dreaming of honest work and a fresh start. The opening pages capture his hopeful farewell and the stark contrast between his simple rural life and the chaotic energy of the metropolis.

Once in the city, he quickly discovers that finding a foothold is far from easy; every promising job leads to new obstacles, and the temptations of urban life test his integrity. Yet his upbringing and steadfast faith guide him as he learns to meet adversity with kindness and perseverance. Listeners will be drawn into his early struggles, feeling the tension of each small victory and the quiet strength that propels him forward.
