PUSS RECOVERS HIS STEED
A clever kitten in bright boots rides his loyal Good Gray Horse through the whimsical world of Mother Goose, where even a dewy spider’s web can turn a drop of water into a sparkling diamond. Curious and brave, Puss Junior pockets the gem, setting the stage for an unexpected adventure.
When they reach a steep, pathless hill, a mischievous green‑clad dwarf offers four feathered wings for the horse’s shoes in exchange for the diamond, promising flight. The dwarf’s swift work sends the Good Gray Horse soaring like a bird, only to land and shed the wings, which turn into silky hairs that leave the horse otherwise unchanged. After a brief rest at a cozy inn, where a singing bird marvels at the horse’s brief flight, Puss Junior continues onward, soon encountering an old man, a playful dog, and a pipe that blows floating pigeons, promising more delightful escapades.
