Description

Sally lives in the modest row of houses along Slipside Row, where she helps Mistress Cory Ann Brace with endless chores. One afternoon, while wandering near the stone wall, she hears a fairy’s song drifting from the distant Ingleside estate, filling her mind with bright images of flower‑filled meadows and soft, winged lights. The fleeting melody awakens a yearning for something beyond the scrub of daily work, yet the stern voice of Mistress Brace pulls her back to the kitchen and the garden.

Drawn by that mysterious music, Sally finds herself slipping into the outskirts of the great house, where she glimpses the hidden world of fairies and meets a gentle fairy prince who promises a glimpse of wonder. As she balances the demands of her chores with secret visits to the enchanted glade, she learns that bravery and kindness can bridge the gap between her humble life and the magical realm. Listeners will be carried along a gentle adventure that celebrates imagination, loyalty, and the quiet strength of a young maid.
