Description

A battle‑scarred knight has finally traded the deserts of Palestine for the quiet courtyards of Castle Randall, polishing his sword and savoring the simple rhythms of medieval life. His peace shatters when a frantic serf bursts in, reporting that Lady Constance has been snatched by the dreaded Gray Henry—known to locals as the “Wolf” and whispered to practice dark sorcery. The castle’s aging lord, an alchemist mired in mysterious experiments, summons the knight and his own eager son to confront the threat before the forest’s shadows claim another victim.

The story unfolds as the weary sword‑bearer and the youthful heir set out toward the dreaded Castle Barnecan, where the wolf‑like sorcerer holds the lady captive. Their quest pits steel against folklore, reason against superstition, and forces them to decide whether brute force or clever negotiation will end the menace. Along the way, the echo of ancient grudges and the promise of hidden alchemical power hint at dangers far beyond a simple kidnapping.
