Description

In the early spring, a small circle of admirers receives an invitation to the secluded estate known as Locus Solus, the private retreat of the brilliant yet eccentric scientist Martial Canterel. Nestled amid the trees outside Paris, the villa doubles as a magnificent laboratory where Canterel, surrounded by devoted assistants, pursues a relentless series of inventions and experiments. The visitors, drawn by his magnetic presence and persuasive eloquence, follow him along a steep, winding path that already hints at the oddities they will encounter.

At the heart of the estate, Canterel unveils a collection of marvels that blur the line between art and science: mechanical birds that glide on invisible currents, a garden of engineered flora that defies ordinary growth, and a series of contraptions that seem to anticipate the future. As the sun shines through the canopy, the guests are left to wonder whether the genius of their host will illuminate new horizons or plunge them into unforeseen complications, setting the stage for a curious adventure through imagination and invention.
