Description

Lightfoot is a spirited goat who refuses to settle for ordinary pastures. Living on the rocky hillside beside a modest shanty, he dreams of leaping onto the high cliffs where the sweetest grass grows, despite warnings from his cautious companion, Blackie. His bold attempts to scale the craggy heights set off a series of playful mishaps and surprising discoveries, each one testing his agility and determination.

Along the way, Lightfoot forms a lively bond with the Malony family, especially the freckled boy Mike, who often drags him on impromptu rides and shares treats that spark his curiosity. The goat’s antics draw the attention of neighboring animals and the larger herd, creating a charming mix of rivalry and camaraderie. As Lightfoot’s confidence grows, his daring jumps become the talk of the hillside, promising more light‑hearted escapades for this lovable leaper.
