Description

Three friends, each restless in his own way, decide that a change of scenery is the only cure for their lingering boredom. George, the cautious one, worries about wind and hills; Harris, ever the schemer, pushes for a daring bicycle trek through the Black Forest; and the third companion offers a steady, if slightly bewildered, voice. Their banter, peppered with philosophical asides and gentle ribbing, sets the tone for a light‑hearted escape that promises more than a simple ride.

As they pack their gear and negotiate with reluctant spouses, the trio’s plan begins to take shape, turning an ordinary summer afternoon into a tentative adventure. Along the way they confront minor mishaps, the quirks of family life, and the subtle tension between duty and desire. The narrative captures the humor of everyday anxieties while hinting at the deeper camaraderie that will guide them through the unknown roads ahead.
