Description

In the open, wind‑blown prairies of the untamed West, a lone hunter and a pale‑skinned girl named Elmire press onward across a landscape that has yet to feel the iron of railroads. Their journey is marked by a strange, uneasy partnership: the hunter’s weather‑worn face and quiet demeanor contrast sharply with Elmire’s lingering tears and the puzzling mystery of how she, a child of European looks, came to follow a man of the forest. As they pause at a lonely spring, sharing a simple bison roast, the narrative weaves together the harsh beauty of the frontier with whispered questions about loyalty, loss, and the secrets that bind them.

Night falls and the prairie erupts in sudden, roaring flames, throwing the fugitives into a desperate struggle for survival. The fire’s roar mirrors the hidden tensions simmering beneath their brief respite, hinting at a larger, still‑unfolding conflict that will test both their courage and the fragile trust they have built. Listeners are drawn into a tale where the stark wilderness becomes both a refuge and a relentless judge.
